I suppose when the next-closest gym is several hours of driving away, you might expect the maintenance to be a bit careless. But, amazingly, the gym is in great condition and the climbing is much better than what you might otherwise expect. It's a bit small, and the bouldering and the lead sort of lacks interesting features, but everything they try to do they do really, really well. The setting is quite good while it trends towards intermediate-level climbing. I get the feeling that they work really hard with what they've got. It's absolutely worth a stop to get some exercise if you're driving across the country - worth a stop if you live in Sudbury too!!
