Easily accessible historical monument in Battery Park commemorating the Dutch settlement of the area.

This is a very random fountain north of the National Mall. Great location for a sightseeing scavenger hunt.

It is easy to miss this historic building across the street from the White House, but stop and take a look and look up the history of the building.

Nice elements complementing the bridge that leads to Arlington National Cemetery. If you are taking the long walk to the cemetery, take time to stop and take a look.

A striking monument just around the corner from the White House. The Old Executive Office Building serves as an excellent backdrop.
