Fantastic food served hot and fresh and quickly, from a full and diverse menu of excellent choices. Great to see Hakka cuisine as well, will definitely try it on a future visit, of which there will be many. Atmosphere at the lunch hour was chill and low pressure, servers were attentive without being overbearing, and we had a lovely meal. Restaurant space is very bright and open and was a pleasure to dine in. Highly recommend it.

A group of six made our first visit and ordered a wide range of dishes. They were all delicious, (so good I over ate). Friendly courteous staff and a great atmosphere. We arrived at 5:30pm and had no trouble being seated, but by 7:00pm the tables were almost completely full, so arrive early. My new favourite East Indian Restaurant in Winnipeg. Highly recommended!

I visit Winnipeg often due to nature of work. I’ve always enjoyed visiting Copper Chimney, until last time due to a human error. I ordered take out after a long day and went to hotel, while eating and talking to wife on video call both of us at same time found a long hair hanging from the food that I was about to put in my mouth. I understand things like this happens in restaurants, but it ruined my appetite for the evening atleast.
Their food is good and good atmosphere as well. But that one experience was not really good.

We were very pleasantly surprised after being a bit apprehensive due to the other bad reviews. Our experience was very good. The restaurant felt clean, food was delicious, portions were good, service was fine, and prices were fair.

The only thing we can say that would make the experience better would be to get more personal service experience (we were served by many different people), with none being overly friendly but also certainly not rude. Also, the majority of the restaurant was one big room with an old high ceiling.

We enjoyed the butter chicken, a paneer, and a few other tasty dishes on the chicken Thali plate.

We hope to return again to try more dishes, and we will definitely recommend it to our friends.

Man i would eat this everyday! i had chicken curry and on my days it was FANTASTIC! i’ve never tried such good curry bro, the staff was pretty friendly aswell! the place itself was beautiful there was some art and just a very big area great for parties ! i loved the naan and curry duo it was great ! and they have free rice but the portions pretty small so make sure too get 2-3 portions of the rice!
